Okay guys, we are going to look at a subject I know is on your mind. I know what God’s Spirit has been telling you to search for since the day you reached the level of maturity where you are able to understand this subject, message, and lesson. What is that missing rib? How do you find that missing rib? What does that missing rib represent?
Think of this as God giving you a 1000 piece jig saw puzzle. Your job is to put that puzzle together to clearly see the whole picture. So this is not going to be a short easy task by no means. Those answers are only going to come by completely dedicating yourself to learning God’s mysteries.
To put this another way men can understand. You just walked into a garage. Inside is a complete car. Every single part of that car is dismantled and spread out over the floor. You have no idea what kind of car it is. But you know it will be a fully functional car after you assemble it. God also supplied every tool you need. God’s Spirit has already given you every tool you need. All you need to do is open draws in that tool box, roll up your sleeves and get to work. Are you ready? Don’t worry about time. God can always make more.
For those of you with skills to build things, here is another example. God gave you the perfect house. It has every item you ever imagined. Plus some surprises you never imagined. This house is beyond your imagination because it comes complete with secret rooms and places to explore even after you built it. The only problem is, all the pieces are delivered to the site and you have to put it together. Because you have the experience to build a home, the first thing you notice is, there are no plans. Where are the blueprints to follow? Well this is where it takes a really close personal relationship with God. He is going to give you step by step instructions on every dimension and detail as you go along. God is not going to get ahead of you. So you can work at your own pace. God will show you how to piece together every corner for added strength. Assemble every piece of roofing, siding, and flashing to protect against the elements. God is going to teach you every detail to put that house together the right way. In addition to providing all the exact dimensions, and the proper process to put it together the right way the first time. There are never any engineering changes with God. You have to love that about Him. God never gave Moses a set of blueprints to build His own house, the Tabernacle. Why would God be any different with your house? God stood with Moses as He explained every detail and process. Here is your chance to have that personal experience.
Now look at that house. You know there are a lot of areas your going to need a hand. You’ll need someone to carry the other side of heavy boards. It helps to have someone to hand you the right tools you need when you need them. Someone to hold boards in place so they are straight and secure when they are nailed. You need another set of hands. Those hands come in the form of a godly woman. Then the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” (Genesis 2:18 NLTse).
Back to the puzzle. The best place to begin in at the corners. They are easier to find and you know where they go. To find that missing rib, the first corner you want to find is a good understanding of God’s Word. You have to possess a general knowledge of God’s laws of context. Based on experience I know, you are already using a few of those laws of context when you study scripture on your own. God already has that foundation built for you. God supplied that car frame in one piece for you. So you know where to begin. TOTAL RELIANCE ON GOD”S WORD. You’ll also have to know God’s Spirit. He is the One who supplied that puzzle, car, or house for you. God’s Spirit provided all the tools you’ll need. Your relationship with HIM is what provides the plans – step by step procedures to finish the project. One thing I know about men is, when they begin a project, they will finish it. Real men are not afraid of a little hard work. We thrive on hard work and love to take a step back to examine our progress. This ain’t gonna be hard. But this will take a lot of dedication and time.
One of the first steps is to find a godly woman. Look at scripture the way God had it recorded. So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man slept, the LORD God took out one of the man’s ribs and closed up the opening. (Genesis 2:21 NLTse). Now get rid of every detail the world taught you about this verse. Your not gonna let some simple Joe step into your project as your building that house and let him tell you all kinds of opinions about building that house are you? No! Your gonna listen to God and get it right the first time. Every other man in this world is going to do nothing more than waste your time and delay construction. Accomplish your life dream. Build something right on the first attempt. Learn to follow those step by step instructions God is going to give you.
Adam was asleep. He didn’t see or know a single detail of what was going on until God woke him up. Are you ready to wake up? Then pay attention to what this scripture says. God took something out of Adam. Something is missing in men. Our Infinite God and Creator took something out of Adam, you, and ALL MEN!!!!. Period! End of sentence. Now how can any man explain a single detail about a subject he has been missing his entire life? You can have 1000 men walk in your garage, look at that pile of parts on the floor, and not half of them are gonna know it is a car. But ignorance will never stop a man from doing what they love to do — guess — and share their personal opinions. That’s what real men refer to as human nature. That’s one of the tools God gave you to work with. The mind and intelligence to know if something is from Heaven or this world. Do you know how to use that tool? If not, have a long talk with God and He will teach you amazing things.
This is not going to be a short process. This is not going to be an easy process for any man. 99% of men will give up and go back to the world to look for an easier explanation. Any guy can go into debt and buy a new car or new house. Think about that. In God’s system, you remain debt free. If you choose to take what appears to be the easy route — you may think you are saving time – but you are will get yourself into debt deeper than you can imagine. You’ll always be in debt to the world if you try taking what appears to be the easy route.
For one thing. You know that rib is missing. We know only God can explain why. That curtails a long, long list of lessons. Common sense will tell you who your helper is. Scripture told you that. God gave Adam a woman to help. Could that lesson be any easier to understand? You need a godly woman to help you understand. Without one, you’ll never understand the full story. But now we can go over a few of those skills you’ll need.
It is impossible for men to explain this and well, I’m a guy. So I can only get you started. A woman can explain and confirm what your learning. That’s a small part of her roll. We’ll cover some basics of finding a godly woman, your missing rib later. For now, we have to work on understanding some of the tools God gave you to use. Understanding God’s Word is one of them.
Look back and read Genesis 1 and 2. Pay attention to the order and steps God used to create this world and pay attention. Pray and make sure you have a direct line of communication with God’s Spirit to understand those details. When you look at the steps God followed, you’ll learn a lesson. You’ll see those are not the same steps most people would follow. You can learn lesson 1 in Genesis 1. You’ll also learn one of the laws of context. A very important one telling us to always look back for the answer. Whenever God’s Spirit fills you with a question, a smart guy will know, God already gave the answer. Look back in scripture until you find that answer. It works all the time.
Here is what you have to do on your own to build a better relationship with God so it is easier to listen and understand. God speaks to you through His Word and Spirit. You should know that process well enough to be able to explain it to anyone. Look at how these verse are arranged.

I am going to show you how God provided top quality air tools to make your job much easier. This is so cool. When you understand this law of context, you’ll understand what Jesus was teaching here. The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8 NLTse).
Look at Genesis 2:21-22. See the words God repeated? He repeated the word rib. Men who rely on the world think they know what that means. They think they have the answer. They convince themselves it is a simple answer. They get together and brag about how easy it was to understand those two verses. You don’t want guys like like anywhere near your projects. Those are the kind of guys who are gonna use a hammer to help you put that car together and use a half in socket wrench as a hammer to help you work on the house. They have no concept of air tools. You don’t want those guys around.
This is how God’s Spirit works. He taps you on the shoulder to get you to notice that word rib was repeated. It is called the law of repetition where inspired writers repeat key spiritual words to get your attention. We know there are a lot of different Bible translations available and God saw that coming. So when He had His Bible recorded, God had all His inspired authors follow the law of repetition. It’s in all the books from Genesis to Revelation. Check it out for yourself. Don’t take my word. I’m just a simple guy with at least one missing part – just like you.
Those key spiritual words can be the same, similar, and related words. This covers the use of all the different kinds of Bible translations. As long as the translation was true to the original Hebrew and Greek, this law works great. This law goes way past translations and includes every language in the world. You know how God, the Master Designer plans ahead. I wish we could be like that. But this is what these lessons will teach you. A side of God you never knew before.
Here is the first simple assignment. The first step in the learning process. Get together with God’s Spirit and look up one word. You can do that can’t you? You can look up one word to unlock the mysteries of the universe. Look up the word RIB. This is going to take you to a whole new level of understanding. You’ll see, when God wants to WOW you, He doesn’t fool around.
You can use a Bible program or a Concordance. Now just don’t rely on this one verse to show you what a rib means. Look at some of the other verses that Hebrew word is used.
