Revelation 2024
Anyone who has been reading the Bible while watching this insane world unfold, or implode, will tell you, there are a lot of stories in the Bible revealing new light based on current events unfolding before our eyes. This is a good time to review a story in Revelation about the last seven plagues just before Jesus returns.
Rev 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
Rev 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
The best place to begin is the first plague. To sum up the first plague in it’s simplest terms, no matter what those sores represent they will make it easy to distinguish between those who are saved and those who are lost. People who are lost will show some type of defect or defects since symbols can take on numerous meanings to cover a vast array of people and their individual actions.
Since the fixed 2020 elections demons came out of the closet. Top democrat figures leveled threats against conservative Christians. Biden publicly labeled conservative Christians as, “the greatest threat to our democracy.” Based on the fact Biden clearly identified it as their democracy, we need to understand exactly how the left defines their democracy. Which can be rather long and involved and appears to change every hour. It is not unusual for corrupt politicians to change definitions to suit their narrative at any particular moment in time. Flip flopping definitions is nothing more than a deceptive lie.
Identifying marks include the open border, spending billions of dollars on illegal aliens while ignoring American taxpayers, welcoming in illegal aliens while European countries realized the harm they caused and began deporting them. Supporting Hamas and the harm they caused by attacking Israel. Releasing repeat criminals without bail. Sending sexual perverts into schools to influence children. Claiming the new green deal is able to control the weather. Deciding what type of car, stove, air conditioner, and other appliances people can and cannot have. The list goes on and on. Every detail on that list shows a clear distinction between people who are lost and those who are saved.
Nothing showed how people today are worshiping the beast and his image like the opening ceremony for the 2024 Olympics. It took months to put together a display of Satan worship televised around the world. In short, since Jesus’ return will be seen around the world, Satan has to copy that concept and what better venue than the world Olympics. Satanic scenes from the opening ceremonies would not have been shown on TV a few years ago. But since demons feel safe after the fixed 2020 election, nothing is barred.
The last seven plagues work in a sequence. After the world sees the demons clear as can be, the other plagues follow. This established a timeline to tell us exactly where we are on earth’s prophetic timeline.
Rev 16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
There is nothing hidden in the physical or spiritual meaning of any of the words in verse 3. Sea is a body of salt water. Blood is the blood of a human or animal. Dead is dead. So what does it mean? We have to follow the general rules of interpretation by allowing the author to define symbols found in this story.
Allowing this story in the Bible to interpret the symbols is not a difficult task. It is simply reading the entire story. The last seven plagues are only one part of a story that begins in a previous chapter. Revelation 16:3 contains a combination of key words namely, sea and blood. Looking at previous chapters we find another part of the story containing similar key words.
Rev 14:15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
Rev 14:16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
Rev 14:17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
Rev 14:18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
Rev 14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
Rev 14:20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
The actual phrase used in 16:3 was, “and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.”
The end of Revelation chapter 14 describes the final harvest of the world. The harvest symbolizes the final judgment of the earth.
Jesus replied, “The Son of Man is the farmer who plants the good seed. The field is the world, and the good seed represents the people of the Kingdom. The weeds are the people who belong to the evil one. The enemy who planted the weeds among the wheat is the devil. The harvest is the end of the world, and the harvesters are the angels. “Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world. (Mat 13:37-40 NLTse)
Basically Revelation used symbols to explain the final judgment as viewed in Heaven. Immediately following God’s final judgment where everyone is either saved or lost for eternity, the last seven plagues begin. The first of course distinguishes between the lost and the saved. Something tells the lost there is nothing they can ever do to save themselves. They are lost forever and they have nothing to loose. Which explains why we see people exhibiting that attitude on the news everyday.
The second curse where every living soul died in the sea, basically mirrors the same time frame shown in Revelation chapter 14. The angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. Chapter 16 adds symbolic details explaining chapter 16. The blood coming out of the winepress is expanded to every living creature in a sea of blood. Both parts of the story explain the same scene using similar symbols.
Rev 16:4 Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs, and they became blood.
Rev 16:5 And I heard the angel who had authority over all water saying, “You are just, O Holy One, who is and who always was, because you have sent these judgments.
Rev 16:6 Since they shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets, you have given them blood to drink. It is their just reward.”
Rev 16:7 And I heard a voice from the altar, saying, “Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty, your judgments are true and just.”
The third plague expanded the symbolism of the second plague adding fresh water to salt water referenced by the word sea. In earthly terms, criminals, especially politicians always look for loopholes. The third plague closed every loophole. The Author used the third plague to go back and tie in God’s judgment also found in Revelation chapter 14 establishing a link no one can question telling the reader these two chapters, and everything in between need to be studied together. The author emphasized the point, “Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty, your judgments are true and just.” There is no arguing the points made by the last seven plagues. It is useless to argue with them and they cannot be changed.
Rev 16:8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, causing it to scorch everyone with its fire.
Rev 16:9 Everyone was burned by this blast of heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had control over all these plagues. They did not repent of their sins and turn to God and give him glory.
It is time to cover what is called linking words in the Bible. Each plague begins with the word, “Then.” Which was placed there to establish a link between one plague and the next. The word, “then,” also links one chapter or portion of a story to the next telling us, these stories are related and recorded in the proper sequence.
There are two distinct symbols describing the fate of everyone who is lost in the final judgment. Blood and fire may seem different on the physical surface, but in the symbolic sense, blood and fire spell final and permanent destruction for the lost no matter what book or story they are found in the Bible. In the spiritual sense, blood represents the lost in a living state, knowing they are lost forever and fire is used to describe their emotional state along with their inevitable total destruction. Which of course explains why the lost seek unfettered revenge on the saved living on the earth at that time. Which explains why we’ve been seeing crimes of all types committed with no remorse.
Rev 16:10 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. His subjects ground their teeth in anguish,
Rev 16:11 and they cursed the God of heaven for their pains and sores. But they did not repent of their evil deeds and turn to God.
As we progress through the last seven curses we can see the plagues do not establish a timeline but add information for the saints to know what to expect and how the lost, controlled by demons will react. We see another symbol added to blood and fire. Darkness is added to help describe the mental state of the lost. Kingdom does not relate to any physical nation but tells us this is worldwide event.
Rev 16:12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great Euphrates River, and it dried up so that the kings from the east could march their armies toward the west without hindrance.
Rev 16:13 And I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs leap from the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.
Rev 16:14 They are demonic spirits who work miracles and go out to all the rulers of the world to gather them for battle against the Lord on that great judgment day of God the Almighty.
Rev 16:15 “Look, I will come as unexpectedly as a thief! Blessed are all who are watching for me, who keep their clothing ready so they will not have to walk around naked and ashamed.”
Rev 16:16 And the demonic spirits gathered all the rulers and their armies to a place with the Hebrew name Armageddon.
The sixth curse contains one of the most controversial events in the Bible. The battle of Armageddon. So much has been written about Armageddon, but seldom does anyone point out its relationship to the seven last plagues. Which explains the reason behind that battle.
Previous verses also explain what the Euphrates River drying up symbolizes. Looking back at references to water we see the sea and fresh water are related to blood, death and reference the reward for those who have been judged guilty. Going back to another version of this story we see how the lost were thrown into a winepress and a river of blood gushed out. The Euphrates River of course draws us back to Babylon and the final destruction of the earth.
Jer 46:10 For this is the day of the Lord, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, a day of vengeance on his enemies. The sword will devour until it is satisfied, yes, until it is drunk with your blood! The Lord, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, will receive a sacrifice today in the north country beside the Euphrates River.
Looking at this particular portion of the story explained the symbolism involved. People know they are lost forever. They are filled with guilt and a sense of vengeance. In Satan’s eyes that sense of guilt holds them back to a degree. Something Satan had been dealing with for thousands of years. Once that guilt is dried up, vengeance is fully ripened and Satan feels his followers are equipped for the final battle. The plan of course being to eliminate every saved person from the earth.
Satan wants to develop and train his army to serve him with no questions asked. We see that army beginning to form by turning on the TV or watching videos of the protests and arrests we see on a daily level. Criminals get pulled over by police on a traffic stop. Nothing major. A simple warning or ticket would be the normal outcome. The criminal acts agitated, fearless, always using the term, “I know my rights.” Criminals also use key words like, “actually,” or, “literally,” when explaining their actions. Criminals communicate with law enforcement like officers are a lower class of human being, easily directed, and not as smart as the criminal they are facing. As it usually turns out, the criminal has a long arrest record showing a number of arrests the criminal claims are a mistake. Criminals have no conscience. The public has been told, we need to defund police, give criminals a second chance. They will appreciate the mercy and turn from their life of crime. More often than not the criminal in the video is out on bail or a signature bond. Most times the criminal neglected to appear in court so an arrest warrant was issued. So much for the show of mercy. Criminals look at mercy as a sign of weakness which is how Satan wants his troops trained.
Protesters in the streets have changed dramatically over the past few years. It all began with the 2020 riots. Which were much different than the 2016 riots. Riots seem to coincide with election periods. In 2016 it was easy for law enforcement to distinguish between common people protesting and agitators most likely paid to elevate protests into riots. The agitators wore masks. In 2020 the left created a pandemic with government mandates to wear masks. With everyone wearing masks it became more difficult for law enforcement to tell the agitators from common protesters. Imagine people evil enough to release a virus upon the earth killing millions of people, shutting down a world economy, and effecting the lives of every individual on the planet all to control the outcome of an election as well as protect the identity of their paid agitators. Protests quickly broke out into riots which escalated into all out looting and burning of businesses in every major city. Some major cities passed laws to protect protesters and looters. Key democrats called for donations to bail out suspects arrested during the riots. In a cloak disguised as mercy and forgiveness, Satan was running his troops through basic training learning to take advantage of the system and have no fear of any retribution or justice.
Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead. (1Ti 4:1-2 NLTse)
There are certain stigmatisms attached to this prophecy in the Bible. One of which is the fact no one is able to identify the leaders of the organization behind Satan’s army. Some claim Satan will take on a human form. For years preachers have made a lot of money claiming to know what organization is controlling Satan’s plans or who that person is. In reality we know it is Satan controlling his armies made up of millions of people. Some members of radical organizations and others acting on their own. Conspiracy theories will always be with us. It is our job to sift through them while gathering and examining the facts. Which is another indication showing who the lost could be as well as who the saved may be. Those lingering on the edge of being lost tend to depend on people to gather information for them and tell them what it means. Which has been a prevalent attitude taught in many churches for more than a generation. Inside the churches Satan’s agents have been stripping people of their natural abilities to investigate and weigh matters. A type of judgment process Paul wrote about.
I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people. It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning. God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, “You must remove the evil person from among you.” (1Co 5:11-13 NLTse)
Gathering all the facts in front of us, it is impossible to narrow Satan’s plan down to a single person. We see Satan using democrats, republicans we call rhinos, as well as a number of radical factions around the world. We have Mexican cartels pouring across the US southern border. Those cartels are battling among one another for control as well as against established gangs who think they run cities. We have people placed in positions of power from DA’s to judges, as well as mayors and governors working with criminal factions for profit. Federal agencies work under an unwritten set of double standards. We have radical religious factions flown in from around the world. We have nations leaning on conquest and expansion. There are thousands of organizations under Satan’s control. Telling people to concentrate on one organization or person eliminates investigation and insight into other obvious areas we know need monitoring. It will never do any good to clean up evil in one area while allowing it to thrive in another one hundred areas.
Protests in the middle of 2024 have taken quite a turn. College students and others have decided to support Palestine and the Hamas attack on Israel in October 2023. Hundreds of people were killed including women and children. No one was spared the hatred unleashed and directed by Hamas. It took years of training and mind control to harness that hatred. A sort of testing ground for Satan. Protests in the US and around the world began by using under educated people to take over college and university grounds. The beginning of the protests were rather calm compared to later protests around the world. Protest volunteers, or paid protesters were not the brightest pennies in the roll. Protests began with a few simple chants. “Free Palestine,” and, “from the river to the sea.” Interviews showed the majority of protesters had no idea what they were chanting. They were just following orders. Those chants have escalated to, “Hamas is coming,” and, “Hamas is here.” In a few short months the minds of simple people have accepted the devilish actions of Hamas raping and killing women and children with no restraint from their conscience to show us how quickly Satan is able to gain full control over the human mind.
Putting the entire story together is just as important as studying Satan’s abilities. A few years ago sanctuary cities passed laws and joined in unions which was supposed to be a noble cause. When we see how that noble cause was masked, we can see how Satan appears like an angel of light while having the most sinister plans at heart. Sanctuary cities had a goal of protecting illegal immigrants from deportation. So they demonized law enforcement agencies given the task of investigating, arresting, and deporting illegal immigrants. Sanctuary cities painted a picture of immigrants as good people trying to provide for their families. Their laws made it illegal to arrest and detain illegal immigrants. Which meant, when an illegal immigrant was arrested, they faced a different law and court system. Illegal immigrants were released without bail and turned back on the streets. A system carrier criminals were happy to take advantage of. Many criminals were arrested dozens of times as their criminal records grew. In some cases major felonies were dwelt with in a rather unorthodox manner. Murder suspects were quickly relocated to another sanctuary city where they are released at the airport, given a place to stay, a credit card for cash, and signed up for a number of benefits the sanctuary city offered for free. We’ve seen too many stories where the suspect showed no remorse but instead took advantage of the generosity shown to them. Convinced they were above the law a number of suspects turned their demonic attitude on women, children, elderly, any victim at random committing rape and murder again. No one really knows if that was part of the plan initiated by political leaders or the result of plans doomed to fail.
In that series of events we see how reviewing all the associated facts leads to evidence of responsibility spread around from the lowest levels all the way to the top. A few European countries finally figured out radical Muslim factions flooding nations with immigrants had a plan. Radical Muslim leaders recruited displaced immigrants and easily convinced them, with the right leadership they could take control. Then everything would come up roses. Since Europe has turned the corner and started deporting the most radical factions, the US has been more than happy to charter flights to bring those radical factions to America. Which explains why the US has seen such a quick shift to radical Muslim protests openly supporting Hamas and other radical factions. Just like sanctuary cities a network exists around the world designed to protect the most radical criminals in the world in our generation and like sanctuary cities, the federal government is involved in the scheme. When the net begins closing in on radical leaders in one country, they are relocated to another country welcoming them in with open arms. Complete with speeches and news stories to deceive the public into thinking tax dollars are spent on a noble cause.
God provided an unprecedented example showing how and why we have no idea who the leaders of those factions are. Over the years President Biden has shown the world a fast decline in basic mental abilities. The debate between Biden and Trump verified suspicions most conservatives saw for years, but with a little nudging from God, moderates had to admit, Biden was not fit to hold the office of the President. A handful of events finally forced Biden to step down from his reelection campaign opening the door for Vice President Harris to take the spot light. There are a hundred other factors to consider. Here we will concentrate on one. The obvious decline of Biden’s mental abilities. It has become obvious to the world. Biden is not fit to lead the world’s strongest nation. To make matters simple the question was raised. If Biden is not running the country, who is? We have dozens of theories. All as legitimate as the others. The list of possible candidates pulling the strings and preferring to remain behind the curtain range from Biden’s wife, Jill, to a handful of powerful democrats in congress, an ex-president, as well as a small collection of wealthy people who just happen to own and control the majority of world news agencies as well as major companies around the world. The point to pay attention to is. We do not have the evidence to point to any particular person of group now controlling the White House. This is of course the most serious crime of treason ever seen in the United States. We know that control extends into government agencies funded to protect against such attacks. We also know, God knows exactly who is working behind the scenes, what they are doing, what they have done, and what they are planning. We can ask, “why does God allow this to happen,” and ask, “why doesn’t God do something about it,” all we want. Deep down inside we know God is in control and there must be a good reason why we are shown some details while other details remain hidden. Beyond the average believer are millions of others who need to be tested and refined. We’ve seen how quickly Satan has been able to win the minds and will of his followers. It is obvious Jesus is working ten times are hard to win the hearts of new followers who have to be totally dedicated. It takes time.
Although the story about the last and final battle in this world seems rather fearful to some, there is a bright spot we have to look at. Since Satan is gathering his army to battle, he has to be facing another army. Of course that army is made up of Satan’s arch enemies, Jesus’ followers. At this point we can only guess how Jesus’ followers will be organized. Looking at the up coming election in 2024 it is not beyond belief to see the United States, and a handful of other countries who finally caught onto the fact, we are in a spiritual battle will win back control of their government through the election process. Setting up what could be a union of nations the devil hates. There are of course a number of nations we see the devil has control over and at this point would be surprising to see them break free of his control. There are of course good people in every country around the world.
Rev 16:17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air. And a mighty shout came from the throne in the Temple, saying, “It is finished!”
Rev 16:18 Then the thunder crashed and rolled, and lightning flashed. And a great earthquake struck–the worst since people were placed on the earth.
Rev 16:19 The great city of Babylon split into three sections, and the cities of many nations fell into heaps of rubble. So God remembered all of Babylon’s sins, and he made her drink the cup that was filled with the wine of his fierce wrath.
Rev 16:20 And every island disappeared, and all the mountains were leveled.
Rev 16:21 There was a terrible hailstorm, and hailstones weighing seventy-five pounds fell from the sky onto the people below. They cursed God because of the terrible plague of the hailstorm.
Of course events started by the seventh and last plague cover a number of chapters in Revelation. Today we will only look at closing comments in Revelation chapter 16. To sum it up, that battle never takes place. Jesus knows exactly what is happening and that is when He steps in and says enough is enough, “it is finished.” Satan’s plans for a battle are interrupted. The battle never takes place. There will not be another seven years for people to make a final decision, change their mind, or change allegiance. There are no second chances. Everyone was judged before the last seven plagues began. It is all over. No one is left behind.
After reviewing Revelation chapter 16 and a few other related chapters we know there are still unanswered questions. We know Jesus has a good reason to withhold certain information and for the most part, we trust His authority and wisdom. In the mean time, we continue to gather data, compare it to stories in scripture, allow the stories to slowly unfold, give all the credit to Jesus, and patiently wait.
