Believe it or not, Jesus was teaching the disciples what we refer to as a couple of Bible Study Rules. The disciples needed a connection with the Holy Spirit when they recorded the Gospels and books in the New Testament. It was important for the disciples to know how the Holy Spirit was going to work with them and know patterns all the books in the Bible share so they wouldn’t take what the Spirit told them to write then edit it to the point it lost that literary pattern that is God’s signature.
